Lost and Found

On Monday 5/29, Lost & Found will be operating from the Tent on the boardwalk located at Gate 3/Ohio Ave between 9am – 1pm.

Guests can view and/or claim items directly through the website.

What Are The Festival's Dates / Times?

Adjacent Music Festival will take place Saturday, May 27 & Sunday, May 28, 2023. We’ll kick things off around Noon each day and close things down around 11pm.

Can I come on-site and sell stuff?

Please note unauthorized vending of any kind is strictly prohibited on and around Adjacent Music Festival. This will be strictly enforced. 

Is there an age limit?

Nope, all ages are welcome. 

Are kids free?

Children 2 and under can receive free General Admission and must be accompanied by a ticketed adult. 

Where is the festival and the address?

The Adjacent Music Festival will take place on the Atlantic City Beach. We’re located at One Atlantic Ocean, Atlantic City, NJ 08401. 

What is Adjacent?

A brand new 2-day festival coming to the Atlantic City Beach May 27 & May 28, 2023. 

What is the COVID Policy?

Adjacent is dedicated to the health and safety of our fans, staff and artists. We will update if any safety protocols are needed as we get closer to the festival dates. 

Can I buy passes at the box office?

Yes! If GA passes are still available, you can visit our Box Office located at Boardwalk Hall (just down the boardwalk from the festival). 

Will there be an ada section?

A designated ADA viewing area will be available. Please direct any ADA-related ticketing questions to ADA@adjacentfestival.com. ADA entry is located on the boardwalk near Ohio Ave. Please note the ADA area is first come, first served. Please note all patrons & companions must have a ticket. 

What am I not allowed to bring?

PROHIBITED ITEMS: 

  • NO Chairs OF ANY KIND 
  • NO bags or containers larger than 12” x 6” x 12” (or exceeding 864 cubic inches total volume). Bags larger than a small clutch bag (4.5” x 6.5”) should be composed of clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC with a single compartment.  
  • NO Backpacks and other multi-compartment bags larger than a small clutch bag (4.5” x 6.5”). An exception may be made for medically necessary or infant care bags (diaper) after proper inspection. Please note these items will be searched and tagged. ***No large, framed packs permitted. 
  • NO Illegal Drugs, Substances, or paraphernalia of any kind 
  • NO Weapons of ANY kind or items deemed as weapon including knives by security 
  • NO Outside Alcohol or Beverages  
  • NO Outside Food  
  • NO Fireworks or Sparklers 
  • NO Blankets or tarps 
  • NO Coolers OF ANY KIND, Baskets, and/or Large Bags 
  • NO Selfie Sticks 
  • NO Glass of any kind. 
  • NO Aerosol Cans
  • NO Drones 
  • NO Flyers, Handbills, Posters or Stickers. ***Absolutely NO solicitation is allowed on premise. 
  • NO Tents or Shelters 
  • NO over the head helmets or full costume heads  
  • NO Flags, Totems, Large signs ***Or anything that might block someone’s view. 
  • NO Animals ***With exception of service dogs + small horses***. 
  • NO Squirt Guns, Toy Guns ***Or anything else that resembles a weapon. 
  • NO Umbrellas of ANY kind INCLUDING Beach Umbrellas 
  • NO Glow Sticks or Laser Pointers 
  • NO Selling of Merchandise, or Unauthorized/Unlicensed Vending 
New Bag Policy?

Clear reusable bags are welcome inside the festival venue as long as they are 12”x 6”x 12” or smaller. No clear plastic shopping/grocery bags will be permitted. Hydration packs (i.e. camelbaks) that are 1.5L or smaller and clutch purses/wallets that are 4.5”x6.5” or smaller do not have to be clear. Medically necessary bags and diaper bags are also welcome. 

*PLEASE NOTE: ALL PATRONS AND ALL BAGS WILL BE SEARCHED EACH TIME YOU ENTER THE FESTIVAL. ANY AND ALL CONFISCATED ITEMS OR ANY ITEMS VOLUNTARILY SURRENDERED, WILL NOT BE HELD, CHECKED OR RETURNED. 

 

 

**Confiscated or items voluntarily surrendered will NOT be held or returned**** Please note parameters are subject to change due to the specific requests of artists & local authorities. ** 

  

  

***Please note: 

All attendees seeking to consume alcohol will have to present valid and unexpired state or federal government-issued photo identification. Valid passports and military identifications are also acceptable forms of identification. Identification cards issued by counties, municipalities, educational institutions or private employers are not acceptable forms of identification. 

CAN I BRING IN MY MEDICAL PRESCRIPTION AND/OR DIABETIC INSULIN INSIDE THE VENUE?

If you are bringing prescription medication, please make sure that it abides by the following: 

  • The medication is carried in the original manufacturer container. 
  • The medication has a prescription label. 
  • The label matches your government-issued photo ID. 
  • You will need to advise the security guard of your items at the gate, who will contact the medical team to get your medications officially cleared by them. 
Can I bring in a fanny pack?

Yes! Please note, if your fanny pack is larger than 4.5″x6.5″ it will have to be clear. If your fanny pack is 4.5″x6.5″ or smaller, it does not have to be clear. 

Any bag larger than 12”x6”x12” will not be allowed into the festival. 

What time does everything start / end?

We’ll open gates around Noon each day and end each night around 11pm. 

What's the bathroom situation?

There are plentiful port-a-johns and hand washing stations on site for General Admission patrons. For VIP, air-conditioned, flushable restrooms are provided. 

What is your re-entry policy?

Re-entry will be permitted until 6pm each day.

Is there First Aid / Medic on-site?

Of course! First Aid tents will be onsite staffed with Paramedics. Please ask any staff member and they will point you in the right direction. Here is some other important safety info to note: 

  • Wear some type of shoes/sandals – the sand can become very hot. 
  • Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. 
  • Take a picture of your Driver’s License and keep on your phone for ID purposes. 
Where can I park?

There are plenty of parking garages in the area, visit http://www.atlanticcitynj.com/!userfiles/pdfs/ParkingMap_citymapFeb18.pdf for locations. 

Will you sell alcohol?

We will to those who are of legal age and have a legal state ID.   

Will I be able to go into the ocean?

Yup! There will be lifeguards on duty inside the concert site and swimming will be permitted until just before dark per the guidance of onsite lifeguards. 

  

Please observe the rules and regulations regarding swimming, keep within set boundaries, listen to the lifeguard’s whistles. 

Staying Hydrated and cool on the beach

It is vital to drink plenty of water throughout the event. Stay hydrated and be safe! 

  

Water Stations: Fans can use a water bottle or purchase a bottle to fill up as much as needed throughout the day.  

  

Bottled water will also be available for purchase at all concession areas.  

  

Fans are permitted to bring in the outside items: 

  • One (1) EMPTY water bottle up to ONE (1) liter in size PER PATRON
  • One (1) FACTORY SEALED water bottle up to ONE (1) liter in size PER PATRON
  • Camelbacks (MUST BE EMPTY UPON ARRIVAL)
Can I anchor my boat near the festival?

Boats will not be allowed to anchor off shore near the festival and will be highly patrolled by local authorities. 

  

Can I smoke at the festival?

There will be no smoking on the beach.

WILL THE FESTIVAL ACCEPT CASH TO PAY FOR THINGS?

No cash will be accepted at the festival but you’ll be able to pay for things using: credit cards, debit cards or Apple Pay/Google Pay. Just in case, we’ll also have a location on site where you can exchange cash for prepaid cards. 

Allowed Items

    • Regular or Large Beach Towels Only. ***Blankets and Tarps are NOT PERMITTED*** 
    • Prescription Medicine. ***All prescription medicines must be in a marked bottle, along with photo matching ID. 
    • One (1) EMPTY Water Container Up to ONE (1) Liter In Size, Per Patron 
    • One (1) Factory Sealed Water Bottle Up to ONE (1) Liter in Size, Per Patron     
    • Small clear bags or containers allowed up to 12” x 6” x 12”. Bags larger than a small clutch bag (4.5” x 6.5”) should be composed of clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC with a single compartment.  
    • Camelbacks ***But they must be empty. 
    • Audio taping permitted withing the given taping area. 
    • Sunscreen (non-aerosol only)
    • Sunglasses. 
    • Government-Issued Identification. 
    • Cash, Debit Card, Credit Card. 
    • Medical style masks subject to inspection.

    All concert attendees are subject to being searched prior to entry into the Event, by requesting entry into the concert, all attendees shall be subject to a thorough TSA-style pat down search, including emptying pockets and bags, and having your items examined.  Event Organizers shall, at all times, reserve the right to either deny any person entry into or to eject any person from the Event, who in the sole and absolute discretion of Event Organizers are in violation of Event rules, which rules may be updated from time to time, with or without notice.  Please note, re-entry, camping and/or overnight attendance will not be permitted.
